The new Magma Industries Sapphire freeze coil will keep your experience ice-cool, but in order to maintain this performance, you need to take care of it! This guide will tell you everything you need to know about cleaning and maintaining your Sapphire.

Why Bother with Cleaning?

Over time, residue and buildup can accumulate inside the glacier tube, affecting both the flavor of your hits and also impacting its ability to regulate heat. Depending on how frequently you use your Sapphire, we recommend deep cleaning with isopropyl at least once a month, and up to once a week for heavy users.

Recommended Supplies:

Before we get started, let's gather some useful supplies:

●     Isopropyl alcohol (aim for 91% or higher concentration)

●     Cleaning brushes or pipe cleaners

●     Warm water

●     Paper towels or a clean cloth

Recommended Cleaning Process

Pre-Rinse: Rinse the inside of the Sapphire with warm water to expel any large particulate residue.

Soaking: Fill Sapphire with isopropyl alcohol, ensuring to cover any dirty surfaces on your Glacier Tube. Let sit for up to 24 hours.

Scrubbing: You can use your cleaning brushes or pipe cleaners to clean the inside of the tube, or any other area they can reach. If you don’t have any brushes or pipe cleaners, you can cover the container and shake it. Focus on areas with visible residue or staining, ensuring thorough coverage.

Rinse and Dry: After cleaning, rinse with warm water to ensure there is no isopropyl left inside Sapphire. Make sure to let the percolator fully dry before re-freezing.

Performing this routine as needed will keep your Magma Industries Sapphire glass in peak condition, and will ensure your Volcano is always active!
